Why With The OIC MySQL Adapter, Is The Stored Procedure Not Being Executed On The Database? (Doc ID 2693611.1)

Last updated on JULY 28, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Integration-OIC - Version 18.2.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This is for a MySQL v5.7.22 On-Premise database, which OIC is connected to, using the MySQL Adapter.

The SQL statements (Insert, Update, Delete and Select) are working fine.

However, when trying to execute a stored procedure, either OIC simply does not execute it, or there is a problem with the out parameter returned from the stored procedure, as it's not being received, and there's no error.

The SelectXX part seems to work fine in OIC, but the next step, running the CheckXX part (that runs the stored procedure) executes successfully, but doesn't seem to update the database.

Why is this?
