Unable To Close RMCS Subledger Due To Exceptions: Atleast one XLA AE header which is not posted to GL is existing (Doc ID 2694833.1)

Symptoms

The RMCS subledger period cannot be closed due to period close exceptions

ERROR
-----------------------
Atleast one XLA AE header which is not posted to GL is existing
The accounting period can't be closed. There are either incomplete transactions, or unprocessed accounting events, or both.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Run Identify Customer Contracts process for the last time up to period end date
2) Attempt to close the RMCS subledger
3) Error reported on log file

'VRM_XLA_EVENTS.vrm_xla_period_close (+)
Atleast one XLA AE header which is not posted to GL is existing
The accounting period can't be closed. There are either incomplete transactions, or unprocessed accounting events, or both.
vrmp_gl_period.validate_close(-)


4) Run Subledger Period Close Exceptions Report. 3 Exceptions events are shown on the Output, with status Final
