OMC APM Java Agent Not Collecting Data (Doc ID 2695530.1)

OMC APM Agent deployed on Weblogic Server
APM Agent Version: 1.46
Weblogic version 10.3.6

Status of the APM Agent shows online in OMC console. But Last 'Check in' shows 8 days ago, and data is not being collected by the APM Agent.

Issue is persisting since APM Java Agent installation.

APM Agent talks to OMC via a Gateway Agent and the gateway Agent is working fine.
Other APM Agents as well as Cloud Agents communication to OMC via this Gateway Agent are working fine.


<2020-06-10T14:43:00.635+0530> WARNING Error connecting to https://<GATEWAY AGENT HOSTNAME>:4459/emd/gateway/tokenserver/
Unable to establish SSL connection to destination server. The current Java version may not support TLS 1.2 cryptographic protocol.
(set to confirm this, since this exception could happen for other reasons too)
If confirmed, the solution is to either update Java to a version that supports TLS 1.2 (Java 1.6.0_121 or later) OR
send the agent traffic through an Oracle Gateway Agent Received fatal alert: handshake_failure
