Goal

Is it possible to delete an inherited child CBS code?

If a CBS code is inherited, it can only be deleted at the parent level

For example

* Top Level, Root Workspace (Code name: 1000)

** Child Level 1, Inherited Workspace (Code name: 2000)

*** Child Level 2, Project (Code name: 3000)

At the inherited workspace level, Child 1 and Child 2 cannot be deleted, only Top Level can be deleted which will remove the children as well.

The code cannot be deleted at the Root workspace because a CBS code cannot be deleted if the code has been copied by any projects or child workspaces in the owning workspace.

What will need to be done, is delete the Top Level code (1000) from the lowest level (Child Level 2, Project level). Then, a new node can be created at the project level that does not contain the children nodes that are no longer required. The code can then be deleted at the inherited workspace level, then the root workspace level, in that order as there will be no inherited codes at a lower level.

There is no way to on inherit only part of a CBS structure.
