Symptoms

Symptoms
-----------
Time Cards not submitting or approving

The ‘Mass Submit and Approve Time Cards’ process was run with the below parameters, but only some of the time cards are approving, but not all. Additionally, when attempting to manually submit some time cards they don't move to a submitted or approved status.

Workaround
---------------
Verify exception errors and correct any rule specific errors thrown, then submit and approve for processing.

Steps to reproduce
------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. The ‘Mass Submit and Approve Time Cards’ process was run with the below parameters, but only some of the time cards are approving, but not all.
2. Additionally, when attempting to manually submit some time cards they don't move to a submitted or approved status.
3. Provided an image showing that not all the timecards have moved to a Submitted or Approved status. Also, when attempting to manually submit these timecards they don’t change to a submit status.
4. In some cases, even time cards with exceptions are getting approved.
5. Therefore, showing that the time card submission process is inconsistent.

Question: Customer asks for a way/workaround where they can allow submit and approve of a Timecard even when there are unanswered attestations associated with the Timecard (ex. if employee goes out on vacation and forgets).

Answer: If there are any unanswered attestations associated to Timecards, they will not be submitted and hence will not be approved. This is expected functionality and there is no way to workaround for the behavior.
