O365 Inconsistent Searching Behavior For Accounts (Doc ID 2704512.1)

On Outlook’s Side Panel, when I attempt to share either an Email and/or Appointment we’re able to search for Accounts by Registry ID. However, if we go to the Accounts tab on Outlook’s Side Panel and perform the same search it will not return any results unless we search by Account Name. Please note that when I attempted this test I used an Account that belonged to me, which is Registry ID 903697

Question: Shouldn’t the search behavior be consistent on the Side Panel?
