What is the Suggested Approach to Integrate Style / SKU EFF data via OIC?

Customer has an attribute group (non variant) with attribute group setting: Style to Sku = inherited.
When Style item attribute is updated, this is successfully reflecting in the SKU as well.
They have an OIC integration and they have made a subscription in the ERP adapter on the "Item Bulk Load Event".After an item batch is processed in Product Hub , in Oracle Integration Cloud they receive the RequestId of the scheduled process which updated the item (items in the batch). With this RequestId they query Oracle Product Hub from OIC via Item Web Service 2 findItem functionality.
As a result of the query they only receive the Style Item and not the SKU items. This is because the RequestId of the SKU item is not updated with the right RequestId.
Question : What is the right approach here if they have to send the updated SKU EFF data via OIC integration ?
