Tran Code 73 Not Getting Posted For PO When ALC Is Finalized (Doc ID 2707479.1)

Tran Code 73 not getting posted for Purchase Order(PO) when Actual Landed Cost(ALC) is finalized.

StepsTo Recreate:

1. Create PO for a location for 1000 qty for a warehouse with stock on hand 2000 with Estimated Landed Cost(ELC).
2. Ship and receive PO, the stock on hand should be 3000.
3. Create a transfer to another location with qty 2500.
4. Close the Purchase Order.
5. Create Obligations in RTM and approve it. The Obligation value should be more than the ELC value.
6. Navigate to ALC Finalize for finalizing the ALC.
7. Validate the Trancode posting.
8. Tran code 20 A and 73 should be posted. But, only 20 A is getting posted.

A new tran code (73) was added to record adjustments for units that are no longer on hand at the receiving location. This tran code doesn’t affect the WAC of inventory. If
necessary, ALC finalization might result in 2 transactions being written per item/location(tran code 20 and tran code 73).


Example:
A PO is approved for a single item/location:

An obligation is entered for Freight ($230):

The PO is finalized:

100 units are allocated out to stores:

An obligation is entered for AGCOMM ($125):

The PO is finalized again:

Because the current SOH is less than the receipt amount, depending on the Receiver Cost
Adjustment system option value, different processing will occur.

With the Receiver Cost Adjustment option set to FIFO:

Tran Code 73 Units:80 Total Cost:20
Inventory SOH:20 WAC:12.5


With the Receiver Cost Adjustment option set to Standard:
Tran Code 20 Units:100 Total Cost:25
