Fusion Time and Labor: WFM_PERIOD_MAXIMUM_TIME_ENTRY_RULE_AP Does Not Consider A Negative Measure Hours Entered on the Same Day as Positive Hours
(Doc ID 2707968.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 17, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Fusion Time and Labor Cloud Service - Version 11.13.20.07.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
While entering hours in the timecard greater than the threshold of the time entry rule (8 hours), the rule triggers a warning/ error message as it should. Entering a negative amount on the same day still triggers the rule even though the total hours for the day were less than the threshold.
This is using the seeded WFM_PERIOD_MAXIMUM_TIME_ENTRY_RULE_AP formula in the time rules.
For instance, if the max daily hours is 8:
Enter 10 hours of Regular and negative 3 hours on the same day. The rule is triggered thinking the total hours is greater than 8 when it is actually 7.
