Deleted Customer Profile Classes still showing in LOV for new customers

When attaching a customer profile class to the customer site record, the user is seeing deleted Profile Classes. Upon selecting the wrong record, the user is shown an error message.
Expectation: Deleted Profile Classes should not be displayed.

The customer profile class {0} is inactive. Select another profile class for the customer profile. (AR-855936)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Delete profile class
2. Create new transaction
3. The deleted profile class is available
4. Save the transaction and the above error is retrieved.
