ORA-1017: Invalid Username/Password, Logon Denied With Thin Client Modeler Reports After Password Change For ADW User (Doc ID 2716116.1)

Symptoms

The ADW user password was changed after it's expiry from SQL Developer or sqlplus client and the ADW connection in DV was updated with the new password. The database connection itself works fine after it was updated to a new password.

However, using this connection, reports in data modeler thin client did not connect. Reports error out with ORA-1017: INVALID USERNAME/PASSWORD;LOGON DENIED and eventually locks the account.
