Fusion Benefits : 20C PATCHFIX : DESIGNATED DEPENDENTS DROPPED WHEN SUBSEQUENT LIFE EVENT WITH NO ELECTABILITY IS PROCESSED (Doc ID 2716376.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 01, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Benefits Cloud Service - Version 11.13.20.07.0 and later
Oracle Fusion Benefits - Version 11.12.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Covered dependents are not getting carried forward to latest revision when certain life events are processed that do not offer an opportunity to employees to confirm their elections in self-service. These are typically salary change or rate change events, where benefits coverages and rates get recomputed due to changes in compensation, and employees are not allowed to make changes to their existing elections. Hence it is expected that when these events get processed, existing enrollments and dependents get carried over automatically. Due to this bug dependents are not carried forward, when these events are processed.

Changes

Customers on release 20C with CWB's released on 9/11/2020 who have processed life events (note that life events is a generic term used to refer to virtually all events in Benefits which cause revision).
