Cost Component Rate Update Expects Currency Code (Doc ID 2717441.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 12, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service - Version 19.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

"Component Currency" field is not mandatory in "Country Expense Profiles" screen, but causes error if it is not filled when running BATCH_COMPEFFUPD_JOB:

Steps to reproduce:
1. From RMS go to "Country Expense Profiles" and choose an existing profile that already has a rate update record. For example "US" (on GRID 19).
2. Add rate update: complete mandatory field and do not complete "Component currency" (this is the field that can be left blank thus causing the BATCH_COMPEFFUPD_JOB error).
3. Save.
4. The record will be saved in COST_COMP_UPD_STG table and NEW_COMP_CURRENCY will be NULL and later cause BATCH_COMPEFFUPD_JOB error.
