Error when an Email or Print Action is clicked [No XSL view is currently assigned to the email action ACTION NAME [DOCUMENT VARIABLE NAME]] (Doc ID 2719357.1)

No XSL Views are assigned to newly created Email or Print type Actions, if Apply or Update is not clicked. Once deployed, the following errors can be seen:

In Jet UI, the following Error is observed when the email or print action is clicked:

You have attempted an action that could not be completed. Please verify if the service is available, or contact your site administrator if this issue persists.
Details: "No XSL view is currently assigned to the email action ACTION NAME[DOCUMENT VARIABLE NAME]"

In Legacy UI, a popup gets displayed. The value for the Views field is: No Xsl views are currently assigned.
Once "Email" is clicked, the following error can be observed:
Cannot send email since no View is assigned.
For Print actions, the following error will be seen, once "Print" is clicked:
An unknown error (class java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException) has occurred. Please contact your system administrator.
