Symptoms


Import Sales Order failed with bill_to_custoer_id missing Error

PROBLEM STATEMENT
=================
Customer is Processing 5 orders which has the same information but one of the
orders is getting error Order management did not import source order 00354X
because of the following error: A sales order was not created because source
order 00354X does not include a value for required attribute
BILL_TO_CUSTOMER_ID, on source order line 1, with source order schedule 1.
Provide a value for this attribute, and then submit the source order again.

 

- Customer is using the same customer and item information over and over but 4 orders passed, 1 failed
- The order that failed is has the same data as another that passed



ERROR

Order management did not import source order 00425X because of the following error: A sales order was not created because source order 00425X does not include a value for required attribute BILL_TO_CUSTOMER_ID, on source order line 1, with source order schedule 1. Provide a value for this attribute, and then submit the source order again..



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. import sales order using FBDI
2.import files are generated by integration
3. import failed for sales order with many lines

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot import orders with more than one line using FBDI
