VBCS Application Not Working For MAC Using Safari Browser (403 Forbidden Via Production Instance) (Doc ID 2722429.1)

Symptoms

Only for MAC using Safari (browser version 11.1.2), the application fails with 403 Forbidden for the Service connector/Business object access using proxy. It seems there is an authentication issue for this combination of MAC and Safari browser and only fails in the OIC instance with vanity url.

MAC using Chrome --> works fine
MAC using Safari --> failing when using vanity url.
