OTBI Subject Area Does Not Show Newly Added DFFs (Doc ID 2723725.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.13.20.07.0 version, GL Reports & Inquire Screens

When attempting to make DFFs available in OTBI subject areas, the DFFx are not shown and the processes Create Rules XML File for BI Extender, ends in error

 

ERROR
-----------------------
The COA Diagnostics shows the error:

*** ERROR *** All value set values not found in flatten table, GL_SEG_VAL_HIERARCHIES - Please run Maintain Value Sets program for balancing segment value set

The process: Create Rules XML File for BI Extender Automation shown error:

"The following KFF segments has set up issues and needs to be resolved before BI extender can be run"
Many segments are listed with the alert ALERT:[NO_SEG_LAB_ASSIGNED] and ALERT:[NO_BI_OBJ_ASSIGNED]  and several other similar errors




STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Follow All steps to make DFFs available for reporting in OTBI
2. Run the Create Rules XML File for BI Extender Automation the process shows many cubes error that are NOT a worry but does show a section for " KFF segments has set up issues "
3. The COA Diagnostic was run to find setup issues and report the error:
*** ERROR *** All value set values not found in flatten table, GL_SEG_VAL_HIERARCHIES - Please run Maintain Value Sets program for balancing segment value set
All flattening, audit and Maintain value set were executed for the balancing segments and the issue remains.
