Alert: "Bulk Edit Picker Is Not Supported" When Attempting to Update Data Picker Fields via Bulk Edit (Doc ID 2724845.1)

Symptoms

When using the Bulk Edit functionality within a Business Process log, users are getting an Alert stating that some Data Pickers are not supported when using Bulk Edit.

ERROR
-----------------------
"This picker is currently not supported"

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to a Business Process Log.
  2. Select a Business Process record -> Action -> Bulk Edit
  3. Select a Data Picker field.
  4. Alert:: This picker is currently not supported."

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
------------------------

When a user attempts to update the same Data Picker fields using the following steps, the update is successful and no Alert message is displayed:

  1. Collaboration -> Tasks
  2. Select a Business Process Record
  3. Actions -> 'Action Without Preview'
  4. The user is able to select the same Data Pickers fields as above without issue.
