Empty Cart Displayed On Checkout After "Accept Quote" Is Selected From Order Details Page (Doc ID 2726107.1)

Symptoms

The customer has followed the documention https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/cx-commerce/20b/cccpq/enable-integrations.html in order to integrate OCC with CPQ and has added all necessary configurations and OOTB widgets.
However, on the Order Details page of a quoted order, e.g. <tenantId>-store.occa.ocs.oraclecloud.com/orderDetails/<quoted_order_id>, when the user clicks on the Accept Quote button,
they are redirected to the Checkout page as expected but the order displayed there is the pre-existing cart as reflected in the local storage (which can be empty).

In the meantime it was observed that during the rendering of the Order Details page the following error was displayed in the browser Console:
