Goal

I am creating a Total Compensation Statement. I created only one item (Salary). Details can be seen in the attached file. When I create the TCS, the Salary appears twice because there was a Change Salary increase due to Merit and Promotion. In the Total Compensation Statement, it appeared twice and then computed the Total which is twice the salary. That is incorrect. Please advise how to fix this.
