EBS ITM Adapter / GTM/OTM Integrations Fails When GTM/OTM Optional Feature 'DISABLE CUSTOM HTTP CREDENTIALS' Is Enabled (Doc ID 2726752.1)

Symptoms

The EBS ITM Adapter integration (Party Sync, Item Sysn, ...) to GTM (Inbound Integration) fails when the GTM optional feature 'DISABLE CUSTOM HTTP CREDENTIALS' is enabled (Opted In).
The EBS ITM Adapter transmissions do not reach to GTM at all and the following error is seen in the EBS ITM Adapter logs.
