Symptoms

When attempting to remove Line Manager for an employee using Worker API, a "400 - Bad Request" error is encountered:

PER:::PER_WORKSTR_DEL_FIRST_REC
You can't delete this record because it's the first date-effective record. (PER-1530983)

 

Request:

 

This is the first (and only) Date Effective record of the Assignment as well as the Supervisor Record, and the requirement is to delete the Manager Assignment for this worker.
