Getting Error "The asset number XXX already exists. Enter a unique asset number" Even Though Asset Was Deleted From Tax Book (Doc ID 2729036.1)

Symptoms

The Asset was added in the Tax book and then deleted by MassAdjustments FBDI. When attempting to add the same asset number, the following error message is received:

The asset number XXX already exists. Enter a unique asset number.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Add asset by Fixed Assets Mass Additions Template (FBDI) in the Tax book.
2. Delete the asset by MassAdjustments FBDI.
3. Add asset by Fixed Assets Mass Additions Template (FBDI) in the Corp book.
