Symptoms

On : Unifier 19.12.5

When a user attempts to update a Data Element (DE) through bulk update, they receive the following message: 

"The value for field [DE Name] must be unique. There is another record containing the same value for this field"

The value in this DE is unique.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Unifier
  2. Navigate to appropriate Business Process (BP) log
  3. Select desired record
  4. Click Actions then Bulk Edit
  5. Add in desired value in the appropriate DE
  6. Click Update and receive message.
