Unifier REST Service Call To "Get UDR Data" Fails With Error: "Gateway Timeout" (Doc ID 2729172.1)

Symptoms

When sending a REST call for "getUDRData" to a Unifier Production environment the results have been inconsistent, with some calls completing successfully and others resulting in the error referenced below. This Timeout was only occurring with Project Integration Framework (PIF). Another REST client was working as expected:

Gateway Timeout

The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Prepare REST client (PIF) for "getUDRData".
  2. Send REST call.
  3. REST Client (PIF) intermittently displays the error noted above.
