Information in this document applies to any platform.

In 20D, when the user creates order through the Order Management UI, an error pops up if the profile option RCS_DEFAULT_UOM_CLASS_CODE_FOR_SVC_DURATION is left blank.
The profile option RCS_DEFAULT_UOM_CLASS_CODE_FOR_SVC_DURATION was introduced as part of 20D. This replaces the deprecated profile option RCS_DEFAULT_UOM_SERVICE_DURATION_CLASS. Both profile options model the unit of measure class representing time. Customers implementing Manufacturing or Maintenance, or transacting Service Items through Order Management, must configure this profile. The deprecated profile option is typically blank for customers who are not using these products or features. But to avoid this error in 20D, customers using Order Management must set a value for the new profile option, even if they are not using these products or features.

1. Go to Order Management
2. Click on Create Order Button
3. Error Message Pops up
4. Click Ok
5. Enter Order header details
6. Add Item > Error pops up
7. Making other changes at line level > Error pops up
