RPASCE: reindexDomain Failing After Cardinality Change (Doc ID 2730920.1)

Goal

After reducing the cardinality of dimensions, reindexDomain utility need to be executed on the domain to make the changes effective. However it is failing with below error :

Note: Logs displayed below uses Universal Coordinated Time(UTC).
These dimensions:
  artc, regb, sta
are running out of address space and defragging will not be enough.
Bit size needs to be increased to create additional capacity.
Caught exception - NamedException: Dimensions 'artc, regb, sta' require a bigger bit size.

With stack trace

reindexDomain failed with error code 5. NamedException: Dimensions 'artc, regb, sta' require a bigger bit size.
ServerRunUtilityJsonException: {"returncode":"5","id":"t20201121074447p00","exception":"NamedException","cause":"Dimensions 'artc, regb, sta' require a bigger bit size.","server_name":"<server_name>"}
Set task status to 'failed'
