When a particular user attempts to login to P6 Professional using Cloud Connect, the following error occurs.

Unable to connect to the database. Please run the database configuration tool or contact your administrator.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Launch P6 Professional.
  2. Edit the database connection and verify a successful connection.
  3. Attempt to login to P6.
  4. Observe the reported error.
