Symptoms

When attempting to perform a REST call via an external system, the following error occurs.

Access to XMLttpRequest at 'https://sitename.bigmachines.com/rest/v1/performanceLogs' from origin 'https://external-url.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the
remote resource at https://sitename.bigmachines.com/rest/v1/performanceLogs. (Reason: CORS preflight response did not succeed)

Changes

The environment was upgraded to version 20B Patch 2 or later.
