Error When Running Consolidations Via EPM Automate In Financial Consolidation & Close Cloud Service (FCCS): "EPMAT-1:Application name returned from the product is empty"

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When attempting to run a Consolidate through EPM Automate, the process fails with an error: "EPMAT-1:Application name returned from the product is empty". The command/script previously worked without issue. Other users do not encounter the error when running the same command.
Additional errors may be seen in logs: "Failed to sync user <user> with user provisioning and error is java.lang.RuntimeException: Errors occured during syncrhonization: [The following user already exists in this application: <user>., ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into (..."HSP_USERSINGROUP"."USER_ID") SUPPL_DETAIL: ]"
A patch was recently applied to the FCCS pod.
