Variace Calculated Incorrectly When LY Is Negative

The variance formula calculate incorrectly when LY( Last year) was negative. The correct formula should be TY-LY/ABS(LY)
All variance metrics calculate (TY-LY)/LY. If the LY is negative and the TY is positive then the answer appears with the wrong sign.
(This Year) TY = 5
LY = -10
Variance shows = -150%
This is wrong 5 is greater than -10 so the variance should be positive.
