Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ON Fusion Applications 11.13.20.10.0 in Development SaaS Environment:

Value search function is not working in BI publisher parameter.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
Parameter search feature is not showing any values after searching with valid values in search box.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
Search results should appear in the parameter by filtering values based on keywords entered in search box.

STEPS:
1. Open a BI publisher report.
2. Click on 'Drop Down' and select 'Search' to open search window.
3. By default all the values will be populated in parameter based on SQL query used list of values.
4. Now search with a keyword matching with existing values in parameter.
5. The search function returns no values.

Example: Following values are populated by default in a parameter.
  1. abc
  2. abcd
  3. xyz
Now search with a keyword 'ab' and returns no values. Ideally it should return 'abc' and 'abcd' values.
