Search Option In The "Browse Catalog" Of Opportunity Is Not Returning Correct Results (Doc ID 2736184.1)

Symptoms

In the Opportunity object while adding revenue lines we have an option of "Browse Catalog" to select the product to add in the revenue line.
Browse Catalog also has a search option. If we type for any of the existing product groups in the Catalog then search does not return correct results.
