Last updated on APRIL 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service - Version 20.10.52 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Executing a data map with multi dimensional mappings, from Planning Cube source to Strategic Modeling model target, that are not accounted for in the mapping, fail.

For example, <MapName> contains two CostCenters and two Organization members mapped to two SM Models. However any combination of CostCenter/Organization that are not mapped to a  SM Model creates an error message, despite being intentionally unmapped.

Detailed level of error messages:

<ModelName@Scenario>l: There are invalid members in the dimension (Scenario). The members (@Scenario) are either invalid or do not exist in dimension (@Scenario). Target members must be input-type members.

Changes

Created a map that contain unmapped intersection of members.
