Symptoms

The Outbound Shipment Request fails with:

The shipment lines were not interfaced because they could not be reserved.

The ordered item is not reservable.

The integration has been tested with a reservable item and reservable quantity On-Hand, this works as expected (line integration status is updated and no exceptions are logged for the lines).

Reservations are not used as all shipments received from WMS are processed, regardless of whether there is quantity on hand. Inventory balances should be negative if there is no on- hand.

1 Can shipment lines be interface to an external WMS systems in this scenario?

Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Create batch from UI
    2. Initiate the outbound shipment request via the shipment lines SOAP service.
    3. Using an item which is not reservable, the inventory organization parameter - allow negative balances - is enabled.
    4. The shipment line interfaced raises exception - The shipment lines were not interfaced because they could not be reserved.
    5. The integration status has not changed.
