Fusion Global HR : Unable to reassign more than 100 employee to a new manager in one go (Doc ID 2737628.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to reassign more than 100 direct reports via Manager Change action in Classic UI
the following Message appears:

ERROR
-----------------------
A connection to the server has failed. (status=504)


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Update Employment -> Modify Assignment action -> Direct Reports section-> Manager Change action -> Submit
2. Get Warning : The request will be submitted. Do you want to continue? -> Click Yes
3. Message appears: A connection to the server has failed. (status=504)
4. After more minutes still Warning shows : The request will be submitted. Do you want to continue? -> Click Yes -> get Message: A connection to the server has failed. (status=504)
