Last updated on JANUARY 21, 2021

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier Cloud Service - Version 19.12 to [Release 19.12]
Primavera Unifier - Version 19.12 to [Release 19.12]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On Unifier : Version 19.12

When importing a Configuration Package:

Expected Result

The Configuration Package data should be imported without incident.

Actual Result

An Error pops up that reads:

[Name_of_Configuration_Package] Configuration package import has failed. - The Configuration Package contains an exception. Contact your System Administrator. Exception occurred during processing. Exception context: ShellHandler.setModelAuditFields in procedure: unpackData. Last processed context: ShellHandler.unpack().

It is noted that the same Configuration Package can be imported into a different destination without incident. Additionally, the import only fails when Shell Template data is included.

When clicking on the name of any Configuration Package that has a Status of Failed in the Production/destination instance the following is returned through the UI, though nothing is found in the log files:

{ "component":"bundlecontrol", "shell":"", "design":"", "name":"", "description":"", "pid":"0", "type":"bundlecontrol", "message":"Exception has occurred in BundleController.unpackData() at YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS:MMS - unpackData. message = [java.lang.NullPointerException], stack trace =[java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.NullPointerException\n\tat\n\tat\n\tat\n\tat\n\tat\nCaused by: java.lang.NullPointerException\n\tat\n\tat\n\tat\n\tat$unpackData$102(\n\tat\n\t... 4 more\n]", "bundle":"", "dependencyRelated":"false" }
