How To Block Subinventory /Locator Transactions While Cycle Count Sequence Are Open (Doc ID 2738738.1)

While a set of Cycle Count sequences are open and yet to be recorded, is there a way to block all transactions to/from that Subinventory/locator for those particular items or all items?

If a person goes for the counting in physical stores and in the meantime item quantities are shipped out/received, then their count will be different from the suggested quantity though both are correct in their respective point in time.

So, is there a way to block inventory transactions while cycle count sequences are open?
