Symptoms

In version 20D when users try to create a new LOV in the ESS UI the following error occurs


Create LOV failed : sessiondef.oracle.apps.atk.essMeta.model.publicView.N2AtkEssLOVVOVO create failed : JBO-27120: SQL error during query execution. Statement: SELECT ROWNUM AS LOV_ID, DISTINCT flex_value from fnd_flex_values_vl where VALUE_CATEGORY ='SOCIETE' and enabled_flag ='Y' and sysdate between nvl(start_date_active,sysdate) and nvl(end_date_active,sysdate)

and

sessiondef.oracle.apps.atk.essMeta.model.publicView.N7AtkEssLOVVOVO create failed : JBO-25001: Object AtkEssLovVO123 of type View Object already exists

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Go to Setup and Maintenance > Manage Job definitions

2. Try to create a new LOV and receive the error
