Defect : Line Item SYS Auto Sequence Number Not Generated Correctly in Line Item When Copying An Existing Record (Doc ID 2744103.1)

On Unifier : Version 19.12.7

When SYS Auto Sequence is being used, and a new record is created by way of copying an existing record:

When creating a record using the 'Create' function, the generated auto sequence is correct. But when copying from an existing record, the auto sequencing is not generating correct sequence and the numbers are out of order.

  1. Create a record with three line items. When creating a new record the sequence is generating correctly and the line item number matches the value for the SYS Auto Sequence Data Element in the detail form.
  2. Copy the same record and create a new one.
  3. Remove the second line item, add a new line item and send to the next step in the workflow. Now the line item number does not match the value for the SYS Auto Sequence Data Element in the detail form.

The line item auto sequence should generate the number with right order.
