Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Scenario 1:  The RPAS Cloud application (in this example it is Retail Demand Forecasting Cloud Service (RDFCS)) has Atomic User Management (AUM) enabled, yet new users get a message "User is not authorized to access the application" and cannot access RDFCS application.  The following required groups were created in Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) and assigned to the users.

rdfcs_auth_stage
RDFCS_ADMIN_STAGE (this was formerly rdfcs_admin, which is now deprecated)

NOTE:  For Production it would be RDFCS_ADMIN_PROD and RDFCS_AUTH_PROD.

Scenario 2:  Users are assigned the correct groups in IDCS and new user continues to get the error.

Workaround:  Remove the <APP>_AUTH_STAGE or <APP>_AUTH_PROD role from the user and add the role back in then have user login.
