Symptoms
On : 11.13.20.10.0 version, Review and Adjust Cost
We are unable to account the adjusted transactions for the Document entry Exchange Rate Variance
Once we run the create accounting program in projects we are facing this issue.
Once the Invoice is created due to the variance in rate this transactions got created with document type Exchange rate variance and imported to projects.
ERROR
XLA-870812 You must account the distribution before viewing the journal entry.Facing error in project
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. A "Exchange Rate variance" transaction has been accounted and posted to GL and then got imported to Projects.
Later on in Projects this transaction set to Capital Hold for which in View accounting we are seeing the above error.
