Symptoms

 Attempting to upload elements entries using HCM Data Loader (HDL) for element Foreign Tax Deduction, the following error occurs:

 

ERROR
-----------

The values XXX, Foreign Tax Deduction aren't valid for the attribute ElementTypeId.

 

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Fusion Applications.
  2. Click Navigator > Data Exchange work area > Import and Load Data
  3. Upload the DAT file.
