Symptoms

Update Shells jobs are not starting, ending or displaying "Finished" Status. There is no error, but the job never seems to begin.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expecting the Update Shells "History" window to display the Submit, Start, End Dates and "Status" within a few seconds (or minutes at the most depending on the complexity of the push and number of shells pushing the update to).

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier
  2. Navigate to Company Workspace > Admin Mode > Templates > Projects > Select the Shell Template. 
  3. (This is one example, the Administrator may also be attempting to push out any other object to shells via shell template, such as Business Processes, Rules, etc.) Select User Administration > Users > Select a User > Update Shells > History...
  4. Note that the latest job was submitted, but there is no Start Date, End Date or Status, all fields blank.
