RPASCE: Dynamic Position Maintenance Positions Special Characters Are Invalid (Doc ID 2749726.1)

Symptoms

Dynamic Position Maintenance (DPM) Placeholder positions are loaded in the batch with special characters. When users go to the Modify Product window to manage the placeholders, these labels with special characters show with a red exclamation mark and have to be edited before any other work with placeholder positions can occur. 

The Error pop-up message displays:
Display name must be between 1 to 270 characters and cannot contain square and curly brackets and any of the following characters: ?/()^#@!~'\<>+
