How to Recreate a Damaged GPT Partition Information from Another Identical Block Volume. (Doc ID 2752357.1)

Goal

A GPT format disk / Block Volume has bad GPT information such as changed partition sizes or wrong partitions have been created.

Another disk / Block Volume with the correct GPT settings/partitions is available and is attached to the same system / instance.

The following process describes how to backup the good GPT settings from the similar block volume and use them to recover the damaged GPT configuration in the damaged block volume.
