Declined Gift Card Balance Inquiry addPayments Endpoint Call Returns 400 Error With No responseCode, responseDescription Or customPaymentProperties (Doc ID 2752540.1)

Symptoms

When attempting a Balance inquiry for a gift card (addPayments - POST /ccstoreui/v1/payment) which is for any reason declined by the provider (responseCode:6000)
we receive the following response from the endpoint:



which is valid.

However, when the balance request is legitimately declined by the provider the returned responseDescription, responseCode and any additionalProperties/customPaymentProperties should be passed to the addPayments endpoint response, instead of the declined payment response being treated as an error (while it is a legitimate response).
