Creating Dataflow Using .CSV File Fails With NQSError:103004 (Doc ID 2752807.1)

Symptoms

Unable to create dataset using .csv file in Oracle Analytics.

  1. Login to DV
  2. Create >> Data Set >> Upload your .CSV file
  3. Try creating the Data flow using the CSV causes the below error. 

Error:

Step |j| Execution failed. Status: FAILED. Message: [nQSError: 103004] The number of columns in the CSV data does not match the number of columns in its metadata at row 1.
[nQSError: 43224] The Dataflow "<Data Flow Name>" failed during the execution.
[nQSError: 43204] Asynchronous Job Manager failed to execute the asynchronous job.
