Import Product and Get Error: A validation error occured in Crud, ignore and process next set of records (Doc ID 2754260.1)

Symptoms

User created custom fields on the Product object and published the sandbox.
User is not able to import any data to the object.
Have tried with using minimum required standard fields with 1 data record and still get the same validation error.

ERROR #1
A validation error occured in Crud, ignore and process next set of records

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Tools > Import Management > Create Import Activity for Object = Product with 1 data row

When test creating a Product manually in the UI, after clicking on [ Create Product ] button, get blank white page then error

ERROR #2
java.lang.NullPointerException
