Symptoms
In any Oracle Cloud Hosted instance running BI Publisher:
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
BI Publisher e-mail outputs are not being received.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
E-mail notification should be sent/received.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Sign into BI Publisher
- Click on the Catalog Folders link on the left
- Click the Schedule link next to a report
- Populate the Output tab – add an e-mail destination
- Select “Run Now” on the Schedule tab
- Populate the Notification tab and click Submit
- Input a job name on the Submit dialog and click OK
- There is no output email received
